Account & data deletion request
This page explains how users of the Kvitta Android app and the Kvitta web app at kvitta.app can request deletion of their account and the associated personal data under Google Play rules and GDPR.
Warning: Account deletion is irreversible and all your data will be permanently removed.
How to request deletion
- In the Kvitta Android app go to Settings → Account → Account management → "Request account deletion".
- If you don't have the app installed, write from the email address associated with your account to podpora@kvitta.app with the subject "Account deletion request – Kvitta".
- We will send you a confirmation and process the request within 30 days. Most requests are handled within 7 days.
Identity verification
Requests submitted from inside the app are automatically tied to your account. For email requests we may ask you to confirm a verification code sent to your email, or request additional information for security.
What data will be deleted
- Account data (email, display name, internal identifiers)
- Groups, expenses, settlements, and activity history
- Group memberships and payment preferences
- App settings and notification preferences
- FCM tokens for push notifications
Third-party data processed by Google (such as Google Play purchases) is governed by Google's terms and may not be part of this request.
What we may keep temporarily
To meet legal obligations and resolve disputes we may keep minimal technical records (e.g. consent logs and accounting records) for the strictly necessary period, typically up to 30 days, and at most for the period required by law. These records are not used for any other purpose.
